I did like Mansel's charging style. I will enjoy watching your progress.
What references are you using? I have quite a few books but none of them seem to have enough close up details I want like the old Formula Perfect Manuals.

I'm using GP Car Story Vol. 3, builds I find on internet and internet pics I can find. Basically picking and choosing how far I want to go as I go. There are enough pics available to get you very far in detailing, and you can be more accurate that Tamiya was in making the kit.Alex_Kung wrote:I did like Mansel's charging style. Got more hardware put in the engine and gearbox.
Added some plastic pieces to represent the reinforced area where the fasteners go. These parts are embedded in the carbon fiber.

If you can, try and get hold of the Haynes manual for the Williams FW14B. It's a very interesting read and some great reference. It's a mix of period shots and stuff shot in the Williams heritage centre. Lots of interviews with the actual crew who ran and developed the car.
