Re: WIP: Lotus 91 Elio De Angelis 1982
Some results from past weekend's work. Attached gearbox to engine and installed exhausts. Made and installed seat belts.
Installed seat, dashboard and various other components into cockpit. Closed monocoque with attaching top part. Photos show
a mock up. Note, that CF decals are missing now from the top of monocoque. Some masking tape, I've use to hold it together
temporarily, pulled off portion of decals and I had no choice but to remove rest of them. Did not want to restart that work.
So, will have to leave with it in base semi-gloss black.

Argh, I hate when the masking tape pulls off some decal... I suppose you didn't stick the tape to the palm of your hand a few times, to "weaken" it first..? Not to worry, though. She still looks great, Sergey. I love your choice of colour for the exhausts, and the engine detail work.
Cheers, Chris

Added almost all the plumbing and radiators. Only small gearbox oil radiator left to add. That pretty much
completes chassis. It will now wait until I get clear coat onto body parts. When body parts are ready, I will
add wheels and other small accessories and it will be done.

Nice work Sergey. I particularly like the fuel lines, both on the engine and from engine to fuel tank. Good work.

This one is almost done. I might add some small things, but it's out of my pipeline for now.
Body panels don't fit very well. I'm starting to thinks it is my painting process that deforms
parts. Don't see any other obvious reason.
And couple of group photos with its older sister.
