Front wing looks nice. What technique did you use to achieve it?

Re: Jordan J192 (Tamiya conversion)
Thanks guys!!
Bend it into the curved shape and glued it with CA to the underside of the styreen wing. then i filled up te space at the underside, 'around' the alu strip with 0,5 mm sheet styreen and 2K putty. after that some shaping with the Dremel tool and sandpaper. glued it to the nose cone and filled the gaps between nose cone and wing with 2K putty.

daveyman, i cut the wing out of 1mm styreen. Then i took a piece of 10mm wide strip of Aluminium 0,5mm thin (very rigid Alloy 2024-T3).daveyman wrote:Front wing looks nice. What technique did you use to achieve it?

Re: Jordan J192 (Tamiya conversion)
Thanks very much!!
It's nice to hear that you guys like my work
I reworked some last surface imperfections and sprayed some tamiya primer over it. Good to take a good look at the overal shape and profile due to the all white color..
Looking at it, i think the airbox cowling needs a little more shaping. I think the 'horizontale' part goes to far to the back, needs to be a bit more 'flowing curve' compared to the picture at page 1 of this topic
Not to late for that

Did a small adjustment to the cowling shape. I think it's good like this.

I think you have got the shape captured very well. Super impressed. Gonna look great under some paint.
