Very nice hein I never realised how different the 191 was compared to the 192.

Nice work. I have this car to build sometime and I prefer the early sleek to look but your conversion looks good. I actually would take the 192 over the 191 purely on aesthetics.

"Hit em with the HEIN" superb work.
I didn't even know there was two versions of the cowling!
So which is the early version and the late version?

Referencing back to the pictures on page 1 of this thread.
The upper picture is the early sleeker version, like the 191. The lower one is the later one, used for maybe the last for 4 races. The shape of the airbox then carried over into the 193.

I think you have the shape pretty-much spot-on. Great job Hein! :D

Thanks for your words guys! :D

I'm now modifying the diffuser to look like the 1992 version. In the coming days i will start making the new mounting points of the lower front wishbone on the underside of the monocoque.

It is a kind of project that in the beginning you think 'just a few modifications and it's done' but the longer i work on it the more differences i see 8) . but that is also part of the fun building it.

As i mentioned before, i'm sure that there will be deviations, and it will not be 100% accurate but if it looks like the 192 and i feel ok with it than i had my fun and i'm happy enough.

Thanks! new update with pictures will follow soon.

Great start, Hein. I've always love the shape (and livery) of this car, and yours is on the road to success.

Started modifying the front lower wishbones. The new mounting point is at the middle of the underside of the chassis. So with some cutting re-alignment and some brass i made this:
