Gold leaf Lotus? Could be front or rear tires in the 1st photo. Centerlocks.

Re: 1/12 MFH kit June 2022
Someone on FB said "6 hole mounted wheels" and I'm like "no, ugh, center lock". The 6 bolts are not going to hold the wheel or are they? 6 hole would narrow it down somewhat. Depending on if that is a rear brake or not, one could rule out a few cars with inboard rear brakes..
Cheers,
Roman

It could still be a 1969 SEFAC Ferrari 312P wich had similar brakes. I see from photos NART changed the brakes in 1971 so tricky. I think that photo is of a front brake. P68, 312, Lotus Golf Leaf F1 if the colors are correct.

I think Ford P68, DFV, a lot of Lotus 49 bits and pieces, Girling brakes, and according to some web pages "Oversized front hubs" in case they wanted to go 4WD.
Plus it was Red and Gold!!

Would be cool but I believe it ran narrower tires... the first shot of the tire seems a bit wide? But we have had tire issues before...

Don't think it's the 56 - the assembly above looks like an integrated oilpump or some such and the pic at the bottom of the last page looked like some sort of exhaust snakery to me, which I doubt you'll find on a turbine. That is unless they used it in an entirely different way (here's to my ignorance) . Tire width seems to spell prototype class to me. With that in mind the 3.0 litre Ford sounds good. Not a successful car, but quite something to behold, albeit not the prettiest of cars - depending on the angle. The front still reminds me of the first gen Elise.
Anyway, if indeed it is the F3L or P68, then we will have to see, what references have been used, as the car you see around most often is a replica supposedly made by / for David Piper with a number of differences to the actual cars (different wheelbase, no gullwing doors, made from fibre and not aluminium...). Also calipers could match as the P68, interestingly enough had inboard brakes front and rear. chassis > brakedisc/brakes > wheel hub > wheel.
Anyway, I'd prefer the 33/3 tho

Re: 1/12 MFH kit June 2022
I just discovered this kit over at MFH's website, and have been doing some detective work.
It's without doubt some type of 1960's F1 car, but I can't offer more than that!
The first thing I researched was the BRM P83, and I think I can confirm that ain't it!
Also looked into Graham Hill's 1962 championship winning BRM---that ain't it either.
