MFH news?

Post by capri-schorsch »

Hi, just wondering if I missed it?

Are there no MFH new releases for October and November announcements?

What's going on?

Christian! Don't give them ideas. I'm busy buying their kits from my must have list - some of which are sold out apparently. So I'm happy for a little breather lol.

As for October, I believe their model of the month is the 1/9 1936 Crocker Hemi-Head motorcycle (https://www.modelfactoryhiro.com/SHOP/K803.html)

I guess 333sp is a difficult car to engineer in 1/12 scale.

Perhaps they are waiting to sell a few XJ13 and DBR1 kits before embarking on something new. I cant believe they are selling very well, particularly the Jag.

It would be lovely to see a new, unkitted, F1 title winner from the last 40 years or so.

7 of the last 11 1/12 F1 releases have been Ferraris so it would also be nice to see something non-Ferrari.

Button Brawn, Alonso Renault, Hakkinen Mclaren or Hill Williams would all have me reaching for my credit card!!

October is/was a 1/9 bike kit. Nothing yet for November.
Je ne regrette rien.

At the current prices, I'm about done. I have less than 6 months before retirement. MFH could surprise me with a Matra, but that's about it. Waiting for the BT52b to show up now. Since winners and driver mean nothing to me, I look for amazing designs under the skin. That's why I chose the S4 Lancia over the iconic Cobra and GTO's. Even extreme fave cars like the 908/936 are still pretty close to the 917's. I already have two of those. So I shed a tear and watch them go by. The bikes are cool, but one was enough. I still will look forward to all the future releases and I'll watch amazing builds, but it's 4th quarter action in my life. I'll move from the East coast and settle in stunning Wyoming. Build in the winter and enjoy the outdoors when I can. My closest track will be the Salt flats! Sure got lucky having the chance to get these special kits. The right job at the right time. Packing up paint as we speak. Have over 400 bottles!

Red background certainly might indicate a Ferrari.

Another Ferrari....
