This is going to be spectacular! I will be going and taking extensive pictures. 100s, if not 1000s. I’ll post some of them when I go. It will be a week or two before I can find the time.

I wouldn't hold your breath in anticipation.
My son and I visited the Petersen Museum back in Nov 2019 and it was a major let-down. There was one F1 car on display in the entire facility, the Gurney Weslake Eagle but that was it. We had also booked a tour of their "Vault" only to learn when we got there that no photography was allowed. We were only permitted to see one-third of their so called Vault before being ushered out.
Things may have changed since then but if I had the opportunity to visit again, I would rather visit a proper museum instead of this overhyped and very disappointing facility.

I’ve been to the vault as well. It is a rather stupid rule. However I go there often and their featured displays are very open and taking pics is never a problem. This will be no different.
