Re: Crash Helmet Collection
Really amazing work on the helmets, congrats!
Can you give me a clue which color blue paint you used on the Ronnie Peterson helmet. I think it is more brighter than the Tyrrell blue on the 1977 car.
Thanks!

Re: Crash Helmet Collection
Yes, sucks for me. My helmet is still not correct. Guess I'll have to display it so that only the right side is showing....
Thank you!! But as stated the Peterson helmet is not my work. I purchased it from a guy in Portugal,

Re: Crash Helmet Collection
You can do as Ronnie did at the 1978 German GP. Cover the John Player text on the helmet

I don't know how I missed this, but man Icon this is fantastic work. Pinstripe paint by hand on the tartan? You gotta be kidding me man....
Wow.

Re: Crash Helmet Collection
Well, I cheated a little bit by laying down tape lines first to paint between.
Alex, is this a new book or just one I missed? I only have one "Pilot" series book on Senna.. Makes me wonder about my supplier who was supposed to be getting me all the Joe Honda books as they were released.

Re: Crash Helmet Collection
Very inspirational. I bought a helmet to measure to print in scale. I really want to turn it into my hero’s lid, it has a cool connection already to him.
Any tips?
