Hi James,
is it a hotel? A theatre? I can only read "imperiale" on the lower line, can you tell what is written in the other lines?

James, any more information about that photo? Am I wrong or I see a horse-drawn coach?
If it is this must quite old and those letters which can be read on the photo, "Jina" do not sound too Italian.

Big letters could be V (or M, but doubt that) A R (or P) I E .. S
What you see of those letters is basically their reflection in the window behind, the actual letters reach up to the the faint darker line underneath the darker bar. So varieties might be it.
Below that looks like B*JINA.
1920s?

THanks to all, guys
No, no idea where it is, just supposing it's Italy because of "IMPERIALE", yes.
It's a pic my wife would like to track the location of. We know nothing.
The big lettering I'd swear it's VARIETES.
Yes, a horse carriage. Pic should be of the 20s or 10s... of XXth century!
B*JINA. looks a god bet, though I think what is near the "I" is a stylized "S"... I thought it reads **GRESINA.
Keep ideas coming! thanks again, oh what a nice group

Its a difficult one..
As if it was not hard enough, there is a horse trap in front the sign as well!
I think the top sign says VAR___LS
Middle __B_CSINA or _RGSINA or a combination
