The MWT kit for the Duc is the holy grale for cycle fans, the pictures are promising to get a museum piece.

My latest haul of specials:

The well known MFH Ferrari 312T4 (hybrid), and the BBR Ferrari F310 and F300.
Image
The MFH kit is a testament of craftsmanship and dedication.
Not only are the parts in very high quality, so are all the various "extra" parts. From the turned velocity stacks, to the valve mesh, the vacu formed windscreen, real springs etc.
It will be an amazing model when built. But it will have to wait for me to really improve my skill so i can attack it with confidence.
Image
I dont know how to polish the metal part. It will be painted of course, but I would like to clean this gunk from it first.
Image

If the MFH kit is craftsmanship, then the BBR kits are mediocracy.
The metal floor in the F300 is too heavy, and does not fit anyway.
Image
But I bought them for the topic, rather than the model quality. The F310 will have its nose chopped off and replaced with an early season low nose and MFH rain tires to build the Spanish GP version.

Be kind the the BBR´s  consider the time in which they were done. I know also the wheels have the center of rims made with PE inserts. Youll be better with Tamiya stuff...
But fix yor attention on the good things... resin body looks really good! :D
Let´s face it, we all owe a lot to BBR... they showed so many things were possible... :D
Great purchases, they´ll give you lots of hours of delight.

Yes, you are right :)
The resin parts are actually quite nice. Overall the kits can hold their own against some of the Studio 27 models.

The 512BB is a transkit for a conversion into a 512BBB...
I wish i could buy a kit, but not available...
Don't know if it will work though.
Quite a project.

Oh well back again and back at it again, too.

I was tempted to get the 256F1 as well, but luckily it was not in stock. So that may be for another time :)
Now I may need to find me a Matra MS650 to complete the set
Cheers,
Roman

My latest purchase related to F1 among others will be this Itelari RE 20 Turbo which I've got for USD 100/- from somebody clearing his stash.
My last Tamiya RE20 build didn't turn out well because the clear coat cracked the paint on the cowling right down to the primer.
Cheers & Happy Easter.
