I feared you had accidentally slipped some nuclear weaponry pics so I did not dare to ask to give you the chance of deleting them

Re: What is your latest model purchase
Well, what can I say after my last post (not the nucular ones)... I've taken delivery of
- a 1/12 Ebbro / Tamiya Matra MS11 (yesterday)
- a 1/2700 Revell (Zvezda) Star Destroyer (today)
and bought a (~1/100) Lego Saturn V (21309) that hopefully gets here in time for the weekend.
On opening the Matra box I was surprised it did have a battery box and was wondering how on earth they motorized it back in the day.
With the Star Destroyer, I just had to take the big parts out, snip them off their sprues and mock them up and hum some sort of march while doing so. Judging by the dry fit of just the big parts it seems the fit might need some work, especially the business end (engine sections seems to have a considerable gap all around).

Re: What is your latest model purchase
My newcomers. The circle cutter and the notched side cutter have been on my wish list for a long time. Really great to work with them. A bit expensive but really great to work with. The normal Celica is cannibalized and the engine is put into the Castrol Celica. I'm looking forward to the C9, but I'm still waiting for the Cf decals and the central nuts to be delivered. The Nissan 240Z was 25% off in store.

Re: What is your latest model purchase
Got all five of these for about the average price of what any one of them is going for on eBay right now.
