I have to thank whomever made me aware of Yahoo Japan......my wallet, not so much. Bought an MP4/8 and a S27 Hungarian GP rear wing, an 05 YZR M1, a set of 07 decals for same and an 03 RC211V that will be turned into an 04 Tamada ride. These to go along with the 09 Estoril YZR M1 I bought last month......not looking forward to the next credit card bill.

I went to Menards to get a few items to put in the bag and get 15% off. Found these that I needed at a real good price plus (minus?) the 15%.

The metallic "chrome" paint turned out pretty nice - I used it on a pair of '70's vintage aluminum bumpers on a Camaro, and I must say it was perfect for that subject. I think the can was about $3.89 less the discount. The testors was $1.79, flat steel, and the Dremel tips were to replace dull items.

Here it is after about 5 hours.... It will work on some models aluminum parts, like the Lotus 79, and not need to fire up the airbrush.

So, as announced earlier... Here it is, the latest haul. And unless something unforseen happens ("make me an offer I cannot refuse"), this is the last plane for this year. With that I have the final piece in my von Richthofen collection. The ones missing from his lineup have either never been made in kit form or are nowhere to be found - not even at unreasonable prices. So I should be relatively safe (see above ;)). Also no more ships or anything other than cars for this year.

As for why him? Ace of Aces, plus colourful birds. Nothing else. Want to do a diorama based on the 70's red baron movie...

Kars, what's your opinion on the parts, in particular the casting of the wheels - worthwhile?
Both this (for the Vaillant 934) and their kit for the Martini 935 are still on my watchlist of potentially mandatory item since the SMS set is too much for me ;)
Cheers,
Roman

Wheels are a bit disappointing.
3D-printed i think.
Aluminium would have been more nice.
I paid 200 GBP for it....
The etched is great.
I think it will be a nice addition over all.

Well I didn't get this today - as in a purchase.

However I found these fine reference photos for the 934. May have been posted elsewhere, I don't know.

Such a beautiful machine. Nice and subtle.

31 were produced.
