Neko's 1/20 Alfa Romeo 183T

Post by Malfitani »

Hello all.

I just received the newest release from NEKO, the Alfa Romeo 1/20 183T

https://i.pinimg.com/originals/58/03/85/5803858dd67fb34c0f358f06b30ae305.jpg

This curbside kit reproduces the Alfa Romeo 183T from 1983 Monaco Grand Prix.

https://i.pinimg.com/750x/3c/53/fe/3c53fe4a3c6b95944f1d171a9f6b4f74.jpg

The kit comes with real rubber tires, Photo Etched, White Metal Parts, Resin Body, Underbody and driver seat, vaccum formed windshield, Waterslide Decals, Brass Rod, stainlesteel tube, body and suspension screws and Assembly Manual.

https://i.pinimg.com/750x/f9/b9/9b/f9b99baadd253451828588217857ba8d.jpg

The resin parts are high quality, without air bubbles, crisp surface or deburr, and fit perfectly. The shape format is pretty correct ( I compare with some images of Alfa Romeo F1 book)

https://i.pinimg.com/750x/8f/b8/c8/8fb8c88e9671cd12470936d5cd3ba21f.jpg

White metal parts presents good definition and shape, some little deburr is present as expected in all white metal cast parts. Anyway good to high quality parts

https://i.pinimg.com/750x/30/33/63/3033639da2af6a735ab11378f9361ad1.jpg

Tires are made of real rubber, presents some reburr, but easy removed. The Tires looking great and vaccum windshield is very clear ans simetrical

Brass rod, stainless steel tube and body and suspension screws are well package and seems to be of high quality material.

Photo Etched and Decals are accurated and presented good quality.

https://i.pinimg.com/originals/61/32/a0/6132a01df6bc107dfacadacbe931b8ba.jpg.

This kit have the same good quality of previous Neko's release of Alfa Romeo 182.

It is hard recommended kit to all one that loves Eighties F1.

Regards!

Hello Mikey I am not assembly yet. These photo was taken from www.modellingstore.com.

The owner of Neko assembled it. He use fluorecent red vynil paint and apply automotive clear coating over the body.

I have being assemble multimedia kits for the last 20 years and, then I can confirm that the casting resin parts as well as whti metal ones present same level of quality of ST27 or MFH current multimedia kits.

Regards.
