Hi all, I was wondering about the quality of rain tires in the fujimi kits. I have a Mp4/5 on the way with the rain tires in the kit but have yet to see any good pics of them.
Thanks

Re: 1/20 Fujimi rain tires
These tires are concave. Bought 2 sets of them recently hoping for the best. However they are still the same. BTW they don't fit Tamiya rims.

Hope this helps.

Re: 1/20 Fujimi rain tires
The rain tyres for the Fujimi Lotus 97T are famously (infamously?) concave/ deflated round the middle too. To inflate mine, I:
-- wrapped a strip of Tamiya masking tape, one and a half times round, inside the tyre,
-- cut the tape once with a sharp blade while still inside the tyre,
-- pulled the tape out,
-- and now had a length of tape, the exactly size of the inner tyre dimension.
Then I:
-- cut a 2mm wide donut from an old Tamiya spray can cap (the plastic is springy),
-- stuck the tape on my can-cap-donut,
-- used the tape to cut an arc of donut about 1.5mm longer than tape,
Then I:
-- forced that strip of springy cap plastic up inside, round the tyre, and
-- now my 97T tyres are now "reflated". They're not concave around the treads.
Cheers, Chris

I also had the concave Lotus97T tyres, but when I purchased a set of Fujimi MP4/5 raintyres I found them to be fine...

Re: 1/20 Fujimi rain tires
From my personal experience of Fujimi Rain Tyres........
In short,
The Mp4/5 tyres are great.
Ferrari 126CK tyres are great.
The Lotus 97T tyres are CRAP.
Regards, Dan

Thanks for the replies...I was specifically referring to the MP4/5 and MP4/6 tires.
I did finally find some pics from spot model I believe.
