1/12 Model Factory Hiro 312B

Post by rmedtr6 »

Can anyone provide some insight and comparisons to the Model Factory Hiro vs the Tamiya 312B 1/12 kits? I have the Tamiya kit with the DMolds corrections already. Is the MFH kit that much better? Thanks in advance.

I built the Tamiya 312B first in the seventieth!!! Later on, when my modeling skill improved, build it again, but never was really satisfied. Had always the feeling that the shape does not represent the real car. And I think the D moulds kit will not really save the Tamiya. Body is too small. Motor is too big. Compare it with the T 'smotor ,they released later. Longitudinal arms touch the trumpets. Drive shafts are not Ferrari like. Front rims are not correct.Tires too wide, and so on.This kit is nearly 50 years old and was never improved. So the 5 ore 6 hundred Euros for the MFH kit will decide at the end. In every aspect it's the better and much more detailed kit. Mine waits on my stock for building.
Best regards
