Ah, Hugo, great, great guy!
I met him while going with my father who was also comic book artist, at several Comic cons...
He was to all effects an Argentinian (well, besides some more places) and had that unmistakable porteño sense of humor. I remember talking to him, his large figure and holding a really tall glass of scotch. We were like "Hugo, that might be not that good for your health, right?" Well, my doctor prescribed it to me.... he´d say. Really? we asked.
And he´d go like "Es que tengo un méeedico muy bueeeenooo..." (I have a reeeaaally good doooooctor")
He could draw a Corto Maltese in a matter of seconds. I have one of them and can tell 8)
