GP`s 1:43 bench / Tameo Benetton B194 GP Spain/ Australia
Re: GP`s 1:43 bench / FIA GT / LM Mclaren F1 GTR
Geht schon ne Weile so, versucht sich wie ein Mehlwurm in ner heißen Pfanne wohl raus zu winden aus der Nummer.
Today`s update is about some Longneck Mclaren F1 GTR which run the FIA GT championship and the 24h Le Mans, again all conversions based on diecast models, paint stripped and repainted.
Starting with the Davidoff version from the FIA GT 1998.
Next is the Lark version as it run in Japan 1997
The 24h Le Mans 1997 version
And here all together with the Le Mans Pre Quali version on the right side
Last but not least, the Loctite version from Le Mans Pre Quali 1998
And the 24h Le Mans 1998 Loctite version

Guido, I know how you do it, but still I don't know "how" . The pictures in front of me are double the size of the actual 43rd scale models I have here - I actually checked just now. You 1/43 guys are plain nuts. Or using nanobots to work the magic. Incredible.
Cheers,
Roman

Thank you for kind comment Roman!
43 is sometimes a bit of madness, but i like madness! These 43 conversions based on diecast models are just fun builds which i enjoy cause nothing has to be constructed, just disassembling, paint and decals and putting all back together, realy simple tasks! When working on 1:20 or even 1:12 i allways feel like discovering another planet, but i like these things too because it is a bit relaxing. The nano bots came out when tackling a high detailed 43 kit, which i enjoyed since i`ve been in car modeling, a displayed Make Up 250 GTO in a store hit me so hard that i wanted to do something like that from the beginning, a typical modeling syndrome i guess.

Allways impressed by the amount of models you have done, think i will never get so much done!
Impressing works, especially the paint jobs! Like the Lark versions and the black Loctite for sure as black is my favorite colour.
Happy new year mate! Keep coming your updates!

Guido, you can now click on the images and they open slightly larger, probably original size

Thank`s Roman, i know, but i like the old style much more as it is a bit boring to click on every pic to see the higher resolution. In the past i quite often read that people asked for bigger pics in several threads, now with the large designed page half of the site is empty, would be enough space to show the pics the old way and less time consuming to watch them. 800x600 was not that big as i posted them, hope the old solution comes back!

Re: GP`s 1:43 bench / FIA GT 97 / Mclaren F1 GTR
Just a test on how the pics work out, don`t like that they appear so small now, but going on with my FIA GT 1997 Mclaren F1 GTR builds, the MVR conversions based on diecast models.
On the left the Pre season Testcar and on the right the final racing version.
