Afternoon guys,
Not much of a WIP this one, a pretty much OOB build of one of my favourite all time drivers - Jenson Button's Championship winning Brawn BGP001 F1 car.
It's the Studio 27 kit however I wanted to build the later season version and could only find the early season kit, I ordered the S27 decal covering the later season car and then had to scratch up a few details and lend a little artistic licence here and there, so for the rivet counters amongst us it won't stand up to scrutiny. However I much preferred the late season car, especially with black winglets on edge on the sidepods, black wing mirrors and yellow front wing elements.
As is the norm with these multimedia kits there is little to build and so the pics are almost of the completed kit, the cockpit has a few details added as per my only reference photo I found of the cockpit, the seat is flocked and I added a headrest behind the drivers head. All carbon parts were covered with C/F decal which went on well using Daco decal solution and my trusty hairdryer, the white is Hiroboy's racing white and the clear is again Hiroboy's two part clear. I should get this finished fairly soon hopefully
Thanks for following as always

Looking great so far, is the yellowygreen on the nose using just the decals or did you paint it as well? If it's just the decals you've done a great job of getting them on smoothly!

Re: WIP: Studio 27 1/20 Brawn BGP001
ah yes... sorry - good point. I should have explained
I actually cut the kit decal at the point where it reached the nosecone panel line. I then trimmed away the green section from the remaining nose cone decal leaving just the black top part. I then masked and sprayed the green using a thinned mix of My Hobby's Fluoro Green (172), then once dry I added the black decal to the top of the nose.
