F1 and Motorsport Sig at SMW 2014

Post by TheHoodedClaw »

The F1 SiG was also at SMW.

For 2014 our theme was 50years of Japanese Motorsport as 2014 is the 50th Anniversary of Honda rocking up at the Nurburgring with the first S800 Racer.

A few pictures.

We had a great time as usual.

Nice! Very nice! Look at all those builds! Wished I could've visited the vendors at the sides. Looks like there might have been some interesting modelling tools there too.

Funny to see a 日本のモータースポーツ参戦から50年 (literally: 50 years since Japan joined the motosports battles) at an English hobby show. Where ever did they get that printed..!?

Shows are great, aren't they. Thanks for sharing yours, Claw!

Cheers,
Chris

Having a mate who just happens to be Japanese and work for Aoshima came in very useful.
