Wow, Great figures Franck, they will really compliment many carefully built F1 models

Just for confirmation. Dark brown seems to be a good choice.

Figures looking great, good job on these!
Will you explain how you achieved the thin white lines on Senna`s overall? Is it paint or do you use a needle to scratch the lines?

Marcel already asked that. Here is Franck's answer...

In fact, I engrave now almost all the last of my figures, and then it is easier with a 10/0 brush to paint the lines.

Ok thanks, here are more explanations with pictures, this figure is engraved, like almost of my last figures, so it is easier with a 10/0 brush to paint the lines.
Like I did here with the Peterson figure, the base paint is Humbrol or any other Enamel color, then I use acrylic color for the lines, because if I do some mistakes I can remove those mistakes with glass cleaner product, smoothly in the area that I want without to damage the base color.

Hello,

I do not have the beautiful Thomas’ Ferrari 158, so my figure of Surtees will stay a bit lonely, anyway I’m happy with my painting, I just added 2 Dunlop decal from ‘’Virages’’, here is the link: Décalcomanies Virages - decals-virages.clicboutic.com

I hope to complete one more figure soon.

If I were you, I would place him right next to another of your 60's drivers to make it look like they are having a chat. Let's say an Ebbro Lotus 33 with GF-20-23 for Jim Clark and John is standing on his side talking to him.
To have John standing alone in the cabinet doesn't pay justice to the work and the amazing result you got.
I am looking forward to the next one!

Thank you for explaining your paint tech, sounds similar to washes on airplanes to bring panel lines up.
Very nice work on Surtees, looks great! :)
