Re: McLaren MCL35M 2021
Here, too, I would like to post something new.
In the meantime, a lot has happened, even if not in such a tangible state.
With the help of Redbox we have almost completely created a new model and are still improving some elements and details.
In order to create a true representation of the original and the condition of the Monaco GP in Gulf livery, we have remodeled some things.
These things have been revised:
- front and rear suspension
- wheels and tires
- panel lining whole body
- new cameras
- redesigned bardge boards
- additional wing elements on the floor
- new t-wing and rear wing holder
- new exhaust design
- closed chassis ventilation outlets
- removable headrest
- additional front wing elements and mounting system
- fin thinned out
Here are a few pictures of the current state.

Re: McLaren MCL35M 2021
Hi Thomas,
Wow! It is so nice. The brake hub looks so detailed and good.
One thing that I have noticed. The bottom edge of front wing end plate may have to be parallel to the reference plane (chassis bottom) not the ground.

Re: McLaren MCL35M 2021
I have checked the FIA 2021 technical spec. I believe the front wing endplate lower edge and upper edge have to be in parallel with the reference plane, not the ground. The photo below shows side view of the car from McLaren site.
This is a photo of the real car.

Re: McLaren MCL35M 2021
Ah ok. If you have read the requlations you are probably right
Just looked up a few pics and it looked like they, other than the rake adjusted floor, are parallel to the ground, but could be something with perspective in the picture.

Re: McLaren MCL35M 2021
Based on this picture, it looks different. However, it may well be that the rules are like this and that it should be parallel. The next question is whether the print looks like the data. I think I'll start with it after my vacation in September, then let's see what it looks like.

Re: McLaren MCL35M 2021
Hi Thomas,
When I look at a couple of pictures, I find it difficult to say it one way or the other till I find this one.
I copy the front wing and align it to the edge of the floor. It shows that the lower edge is parallel to the floor edge. Have a nice vacation!
