This really is a stunning model. I have the 1/24th and 1/12th versions now and the printing quality is very high with little cleanup required. Parts are very nice and thin where needed. I think the body is very accurate and captures the look better than any other 917/10 model kit I have seen, and all the vents are open and thin. The only thing I think could be improved are the wheels and tires. The step on the wheels is slightly off and the tires could have more detail, but Hiro does the same mistake on alot of their wheels/tires. Overall if this kit had printed decals(this kits decals are nice but not printed by Cartograf) and nice photoetch, and maybe machined wheels he would give Hiro a run for their money. The body I think other than the split on the 1/12th kit due to printing size is as nice as most Hiro kits bodies.

Nice work Christian!!

By the way, if you are still unsure buy the smaller 917/10 1/24th version first and look at it. You will be impressed, but the Heller or Fujimi 917K wheels might have to be used as they are the same diameter, but not as wide. The 1/24th version also has all the vents opened up and is very thin around the vents. It is a curbside, but alot of engine detail is included. Easily worth the money.

Here are some pictures of the Mezzo Models 1/24th 917/10 sitting on Fujimi 917K wheels. This would be a great model for some Litho but I have to figure out the rivet pattern first.

Many many thanks for that perfect advertising.

I know the spokes of the wheels are not perfect but the rest is nice.
The pictures with the better wheels are great.

Right now there are some different versions available( L&M, |" Cola) and some more in the making( Brumos & Martini).
But they have to be ordered from my buddy Michael from scalegrafixx.de.

I am only the printer guy.

Darn, I'm seeing "Image Unavailable. Please Login". I'd rather not register for another forum that I am unlikely to visit again in the future. Oh well... :|

Thanks anyway, Tom. I'll just have to wait for mine to arrive.

Christian,
Is there a chance we will see a 1/12 Porsche 914/6 GT in the near future ?

Alex.
When you give me a printable data set than I would say yes.

Sorry, but without a good 3d data it's not possible to print any kind of model.
I don't got the skills to make a 3d data design. I only use the files from a buddy of buy it from the net but most of them are nearly useless without a mayor wall thickness.

Next one will be the Kremer 935 K3 as a Curbside kit in Resin printed.
I got the data and try to merge it with an other data set.

Sorry!
