Aston Martin AMR21 2021
Re: Aston Martin AMR21 2021
Well done Thomas, and so quick!
Is your Saturn the 2k or 4K version? I bought myself a Mars 2 Pro plus the wash and cure station to make life easy, only need to order some resin to make a test.
Will follow this with interest!

Re: Aston Martin AMR21 2021
It's a 4K Saturn and I have a wash and cure plus, too.
I am at the moment on the McLaren MCL35M... and the decal for the W12 arrived, too. Some a lot of work to do

Re: Aston Martin AMR21 2021
Small question to you guys...
Do you think I can use Zero Paints 1484 for the base coat?

Re: Aston Martin AMR21 2021
Finished with the sanding and rework of the parts...
So I started with the decals work on the real model.

Added also the decals for Lance because some had asked for it and changed the livery of the car for the Azerbaijan GP.
Next step are the stripes...
I'm still looking for good pictures of the correct course of the green stripes!!
And maybe someone can help me with pictures of the seat belts again.
As far as I have seen it correctly, they are black Sabelts with a blue "SentinelOne / Sabelt" schooner.

Re: Aston Martin AMR21 2021
Thanks and thank you for the Link, I knew that forum.
People here have always been particularly fond of the aerodynamic changes.
The lock and the associated belt guide would be interesting, but I haven't found anything else here.

Re: Aston Martin AMR21 2021
I only now really realized the extent of the whole strip thing... what a horror!
That goes over the whole car again - I think it will be tedious masking again.

Re: Aston Martin AMR21 2021
You are doing a great job both on W12 and AMR21.steinietrabi wrote: ↑Sat Jun 26, 2021 3:12 pm It's a 4K Saturn and I have a wash and cure plus, too.

I have a question: the MCL35M is at the same level or the mc laren 3D model is poorer of details?
