Re: Mercedes AMG W12 2021
It definitely looks very interesting. Let's see if I will do another version of the W12 from the Imola test.
But if not then immediately. Maybe I'll just print all the parts and put it in the drawer first...

Re: Mercedes AMG W12 2021
What do you mean exactly? Creating the intermediate and wet tires or printing in flexible resin?
I have already created the various tires - they currently fit the Joao models. You helped with the new rims for the McLaren. I'm currently still printing and have also started to replicate the tires in 1/20 in real size - I think the intermediates and wets should be available next week.
I have not yet started printing with flexible resin because I keep reading different opinions here. Either I just buy the resin and test it myself - otherwise I probably won't get any smarter. In any case, I have currently always printed with standard resin and then painted with Alclad Black Tire Ruber and I have to say it looks very good. Together with the tire decals and a layer of Alclad Aqua Gloss on the flanks, it looks very good.

Sorry Tom, I was referring to you previous post. You said that you tried to paint a gloss finish on the tire walls and a matt finish on the thread. You had some issues and eventually post some pics. I refer to this

Re: Mercedes AMG W12 2021
This is the current status of the tires on the W12. I am quite satisfied. I have to see how it works with a stencil and the painting of the writing (I'll test it on the rain tires). But since it doesn't get as clean as with the decals, this will probably be the best solution.

Re: Mercedes AMG W12 2021
Can any of you tell me what the red logo is on Louis tires?
It sure is the logo for Hamilton's tires, but the question is what is it supposed to represent?
I first thought of a bull's head or a silhouette of a torso / head (the other way around - viewed from the outside in)... but I'm not sure. Bottas has "VB" in blue here.

Oh my god, that totally passed me by.
But I could have come up with the idea. Thank you in any case!
