3D printing projects

Post by capri-schorsch »

Hi,
beside my Ford Capri project i started some others on my printer.
These are only the bases for a car.Its a lot of work to do before they are something nearly ready for modeling.
But these are some cars i always wanted to have and no other made it.Only the Lancia was made by MFH just after i finished my first one.

Here are some pics from my website where you can see more shots from the parts i got so far.

All the parts are not cleaned after printing.Sometimes its better to let the support on the body and remove it after the glueing.
I think its a very good starting point for a scratch project.
Made a lot of fun to see the parts growing on the printer.

That is so cool and amazing. I really like what you do here, especially as a 3D designer I can appreciate the work you put into it.

Btw. still want that Brianza 917 Psychadelic...200 and it's yours ;)

Thanks guys.
But I have to say that I don't designed any of these parts. That's not my thing. Can cut and merge these files but I am not the designer. Way out of my range.

There will be no additional parts for the K3 from me. Have enough to do with this kits and time is limited.
Sorry!

Very nice parts. Are the steering wheel and brake discs printed on an SLA printer rather than FDM? The resolution looks very fine.
Do you have a friend that does the CAD work?

Hi Alex,
the parts are all printed in High Detailed Resin.

I found this platform https://craftcloud3d.com/
where you can upload your stl files and choose the material you want to.Than they sites calculate you an overall price with shipping cost from different printing companys all over the world.

The service from them is perfect.Every support mail was perfectly and very fast answered.
Even problems with the shipping company FedEx was fast and customer friendly cleared.
I definitely will work again with them.

The files of the Porsche 917/10 are from a internet buddy. He made a very good job with them. But it was a one time job for free. The next one he will charge 200€ or more.

All great subjects but personally I am interested in seeing the McLaren come to life. Looking forward to it.

I've also considered ordering there.
But then I have to buy a printer myself for my parts for the 1:20 scale and I am not dissatisfied.
Because the prices were simply too expensive for printing by a service provider!

I don't think it's too expensive.
A complete body in 1/12 printed in smooth resin for 50€ is OK I think.
Doing the complete car is not cheap, that's right.
But I also got a Filament printer here for the parts that don't need to get a fine finish.

Very impressive work, as always ! Really interested in F1-GTR long tail. Might get Beta as well. Looking forward to your progress and really
hope they both materialize as resin models for sale at some point.
