I didn't know the thread, but I really had to take my time to read it in full... awesome!
I will not say that you weren’t born when I started this project but…
It’s a more than 5 years old thread

believe me James, if I reach to do my other projects with 3D machine, I will not regret the old style.

here is some more polishing, and the assembly of the cockpit, I choose to add the belt to the seat, not sure that was the best option, the steering wheel is from the MP4/5b.

The radiators, they are 2 other parts save from the MP4/5b and I built the protection grids to the entrance of the sidepods.

Some more detail to the Arnoux’s office, the cable from the air box are going to one electronic box, and in blue color one is the radio cable.

After that I did the front suspension and the rear wing supports

So, I prepared the front wing.

first the quick release

I did quite wrong to the right side, I had to stay zen and I repaired the damage.

Here is the front wing fixed

Wow that's some serious dedication! I tip my hat Franck.
Didn't realise this one was hiding in the background, so took the time to go through the thread from the start.
Shame the drop shade is incorrect on the decals, but you are correct - move on (as a mate of mine often says if his work is questioned: 'well this one is mine, show me yours!')
Keep chipping away it...good things come to those who wait :D
Cheers. Tim

Hello,

thanks for your nice comments.

I carry on with the wheels, I wanted to try the paint template for logo on the tires.
So I did some try, first with MrHobby.
Image

Image

The paint was a bit to fluid, and I noticed that the logo shape wasn’t enough open
Image

So, I cut the template to open the angle, I use the life color for this test and it was better.

Here are the wheels, I added the valves and balancing adessive weights.

And some more details
