JS33 Monaco 1989 1/20
Hello,
The original idea came with the decal from ST27, but to transform the MP4/5B to a JS33 seems to me a bit difficult, then I thought to another option.
If I reach my target I’ll probably produce a Transkit.
1st I start with a 3d printing, not perfect and a bit of work to do, but anyway I do not have the budget for better printing solution.
Here is the fisrt step with some part from the MP4/5b
For the rear area I wasn’t able to find exactly the pictures that I wanted, even the old ones that I took to the Ligier museum, it wasn’t possible to have an access to the rear of the car
But When I will do the 1990 version it’s ok, I’ve got better Pictures (the gear BOX is totaly different).
Cheers
Franck

Very interesting. I've just been reading about the launch of this car in the season preview to 1989 issue of Autosport magazine. Nice tidy looking car, be good to follow your creation.

Hey, that's great! I always fiddled with the idea of making a trans kit. But that's really rolling!
Great job, shape and proportions looked really nailed!

Go, go, go, Franck! Nice idea! Great start!
Your own 3D printer? With a little sanding, and your skillfully added panel line details, it's already looking realistic.
Cheers, Chris

Re: JS33 Monaco 1989 1/20
Hello,
Thank you all for your nice comment
Here are some more steps:
First the engine: I took the top of the Ford from the Benetton B188, it is the closest base that I found.
Then I start to work on the cockpit, the front brakes and the front rims that have to be replaced to the MP4/5b elements, and the rear wing.
I start as well to adjust the chassis.
Cheers.
