Most of the decals have now been applied.
A few are still missing or need to be changed.
But come this week and then there will be clear varnish.

I still have to dab a little black by hand around the rear window and on the fenders. The decals were too small.
And if you look closely at the prototype photos, you will discover different stickers and designs on each vehicle. I have now decided on an original car from the Nürburgring race.

greetings Christian

Decals have now all been applied. Now touch up with the touch-up pen and then apply clear coats the next weekend.
First construction site completed.

Playing around with my new, bigger, Resin printer.
Opens some new options for modeling.

That 917-10 nose is certainly interesting!

Thanks, I use an Elegoo Saturn printer with 192x120x200 space.
Very easy to work with. Still try to find the best solution and orientation to print the body in 3 or maybe in 2 half's.
It's an massive improvement to the filament printer I got.

I think I never will use the filament printer anymore.

Looks great!

Just one thing I noticed - there seem to be some steps, e.g. on the tires that I think are not printing artifacts, but maybe due to the meshes exported with not enough polygons?

I had the same "problem" as well, first try here, you can see the steps in the rims: https://www.marcosaupe.de/images/wip/wip_Reifen.jpg

And here the same CAD file, just exported with more polygons, no steps at all: https://www.marcosaupe.de/images/wip/wip_Reifen2.jpg

Hi Marco, yes the Escort stuff is much more rough than the porsche files.
The files from the escort are from Assetto Corsa and they are not reworked for 3d printing. That's why there are steps and edges.
The Porsche parts are much better because they are made for printing by a semi - Pro designer.

That's my problem because I can use the files but can't make them better. But the printed parts are much better than to start from nothing.

But the Porsche ist a very nice one.
