MG Metro 6R4

Post by mazyen »

Here are the photos of my other Group B monster, a MG Metro 6R4, recently completed together with the Lancia 037. This Belkits details are a bit soft & vague with some badly misaligned molding seams which are inexcusable at this age. Probably the QC guy in China is slacking as I were surprised that it's Made in China. However, with a little bit of extras & sanding, it can be build up nicely, especially when most of these flaws are concealed or hardly visible. The PE set & decays are very good though.

Sure is a great little car. Group B was really something special, everything to excess. You've made a great job of this kit, I have the same kit waiting for me in my stash. Nice to see how it looks completed, well done!

Thank you CK & David.
This ugly/beautiful little car has grown on me & I'm now contemplating on getting the Ro hmans' version too. I know that in the early kits, the navigator's name was misspelled as ANGEL instead of NIGEL

Will you get the Ford RS200 when released? Would look good in your collection! I know I will get one.

Will certainly get it to go with the other Group B 'monsters' when Belkits release it. Unfortunately for Ford, Gp B was cancelled before it could hit the World Rally stages.
For the price, hopefully Belkits will improve their QC together with their recently shipped Citroen kits.
