I am not sure that Alonso is going to be a great teacher to Lance Stroll. I also don’t see the logic in signing a 41-42 year old to any team, regardless of speed at this point. He’s also difficult, expensive and will likely destroy Lance. If I weren’t going to fire my kid, id bring in a hard charging kid and groom him. I think Alpine won in this deal.

This has been quite the silly season. I was disappointed in Renault/ Alpine when it felt like they were not really in it to win. Also it appears new management were not the best.
Yes the AM now is terrible but they are putting in the people and infrastructure to hopefully go forward.
I expect Alonso to destroy Lance. I also expected Vettel to destroy Lance but Vettel does not seem to be the driver he was before.
