Mercedes should take a punt and give the drive to George. Stoffel is never gonna be a full time F1 driver again so what is to be gained by giving him the seat. Bottas should be well placed to step up and lead the team so why not give George a run out and let him see what he can do.

I think Russell will take the seat, with Aitken replacing him at Williams. Could be even more interesting if Williams put Jamie Chadwick in Russell's car (and she beats Latifi...), but she's currently third in the line for a Williams seat.

Hulk, since he's already driven the 2019 Merc in a couple of races this year, and it'd be cool for him to finally have a real shot at a podium.
But the best was the (admittedly dark) hope that a whole bunch of drivers had contracted the virus, leading to shake-ups at all the teams and a 'reserve driver Grand Prix'.

Nice move. If George is as good as they say, we have the scenario I suggested: hge pressure for Valteri, medium-high for Lewis. And Max ready to make his remarks about it all. Dont we have the pop-corn emoji?
