Re: Message from the owner of ThunderValley F1

I just want to add:- Yes, I had an order outstanding from TVF1 from a looooong long time ago However - I never lost my faith in Paul. (It was close!). Over the last few months my order is nearly complete. The parts I have are great, I'm glad I have them. Paul has sent extra parts at no cost as an ap...

Re: Williams FW 07 "Dutch GP '79"Tamiya 1/20

Nice build. I have no colour pic of the side of the fuel tank at Zandvoort, but I have this of the nose from Monza - the next round. Shows the writing is green, I guess the fuel tank sticker would be the same colour?

Re: Ok then, total MM fantasy from MFH

Any world champion car from 1962, '63, '64, '65, '66 or '67
In order:- BRM P56, Lotus 25, Ferrari 158, Lotus 33, Brabham BT20 ('66 and '67)

BT20 would get you two championships for the price of one.

Re: GB14 Area 51 Project X-1

Oh good, a guessing game!

So I guess you are going to build in 1/12, using the Tamiya DFV and Hewland as a starting point, the only '70s Tamiya 1/20 thats not in 1/12 that fits this is a Williams FW07?

If so, you got my attention!

Re: ALFA 179 or 179C

Fantastic job, I will certainly want a set.
Don't forget the Dalmine logo at the rear used at the first few races ;-)
The Agip logo below the windscreen was different from car 22 to car 23 at Monaco.

Re: Reference Pics for the BT46b?

I'd love to see a 1/12 OR 1/20 mfh transkit to turn the Brabham into the Red Martini snorkel car. Like this? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRABHAM-BT45-Alfa-Romeo-1976-Rush-1-12-BIG-SCALE-RESIN-MODEL-KIT-Ferrari-/291025957936?pt=Diecast_Vehicles&hash=item43c27fb430&nma=true&si=jqazIWgo%252B...

Re: Shanghai?

Hi F1Xena, I love the reports you did on the Tokyo model shops! I travel to Shanghai quite often, there are not many of the above links (shops) left. Lion Roar has gone, so has the shop at 708 Changle road and the one in peoples square near the Ferrari dealer These are the ones I know were there las...
