Re: Lotus Martini green
Color photos, either as hard copies or electronic versions, cannot be trusted to represent a color correctly. The color on the photo of the same subject can be different depending on the lighting and setting of the camera. That is why you cannot find the color of the car to be the same. Tamiya and T...

Re: Hyundai i20 Coupe WRC
Hi Lee,
The car looks great!
The decals still look like a challenge to me. You have done a great job.

Re: 1/12 Lotus 99t NUNU
Hi Torsten,
If the part is completely solid, that is the part is not hallow, it is a shrink mark. The part is too thick to be molded without shrinking at the center.

Re: 1/12 Lotus 99t NUNU
It looks like it is a mold cutting issue. This type of mismatch at mold line should be of the past when molds were cut my hand. I just wonder where the mold was make for NUNU. Today, using CAM in plastic mold cutting is no more expensive than hand cutting. I saw a video on Youtube that talks about t...

Re: Help with MFH vac form parts
Polishing with Tamiya polish compound or toothpaste will remove the scratches. Dipping the part into Future floor wax or any clear acrylic paint will make the part more transparent and real. There is also a preventive method. Put masking tape on both sides of the part before working on it to protect...

Re: MFH 1/12 Sauber C9
Hi Hugo,
The C9 looks great!
The silver paint looks very smooth and even. It is not easy to paint metallic silver to be so even. The engine details look very real.

Re: Subaru Impreza 1999 WRC (Tamiya) completed project
Hi Malcolm,
Great job on the Subaru. It is very clean and nice.
I am in the same boat with my eyesight even without cataract operation (unfortunately, it is not far away.) It is a hinder but can be overcome.
Looking forward to see more of your work.

Re: Ferrari F1 87 (1987) Fujimi 1:20
It is a very nicely done F1 87.
Your treatment to the turbo intake is clever.
Your printed 'Digital' decal is really nice. May I ask what printer did you use to print it?
