I'm sure they will re-engineer some of the mounting points to just be snap or glue parts like we have on Tamiya kits.

Its likely based on licensing as to why its seemingly a US exclusive at the moment. Everyone wants to get paid at each step if they can.

Not a super technical answer, but I'm assuming having it helps reduce the movement of the suspension laterally while staying aerodynamically sound still.

Scaleautomodeler, nothing I said was meant as an insult. While its unfortunate, I don't see it as a deal breaker for a kit to have this. That was all I ever met by any comments I made.
