Re: LF alternative to shapeways with higher resolution print
So which printer did you get? It sounds like you need a full enclosure for your printer and ducting into your spray booth exhaust ducting. I have held back on getting an SLA printer because I know I will need some sort of ducting to exhaust the fumes outside and that will not be easy to do in my cur...

Re: WNW Dambuster Lancaster model
One of my favourite aircrafts.
Unfortunately looking at my pile of unstarted kits I will probably pass on this kit.

Re: F1 testing Barcelona
I am still excited for the new season and the new cars after following for over 30 years. I stopped looking too much into the preseason testing times as I found that it never represented the actual pecking order during the season. I found the same thing with the magazines. When I was moving several ...

Re: Ultrasonic Cleaner
Some of the smaller Ultrasonic cleaners do not come with a heater but some solutions will naturally heat up when the unit is in use. ZEP Heavy Duty Degreaser is one that I find heats up. I mostly use Castrol Super Clean Degreaser for cleaning my airbrush (but be aware that it will eat aluminum and m...

Re: Ultrasonic Cleaner
Unfortunately there are so many different brands that only doing research will help with your choice. The 2 in the links posted recently look like Ultrasonic cleaners. The second one quotes the 42KHz frequency as does the first one and the Amazon link. The first link also is a plug in and has the ti...

Re: Motor Sprort Fandom regrets and other silyness
I was also very disappointed with the IRL/Cart split. All the CART races used to be televised and the Toronto Race (my city) were big events for the city. Like in Montreal for the F1 race there were events all week leading up to the race. Now the Toronto race is a blip on the radar. Hardly any races...

Re: Alonso: Retiring from F1 at the end of the season.
Sad news as I thought he has had terrible luck with the recent teams he has been with. Honda-McLaren sounded so positive but that has been massively disappointing. It was painful also to watch the Ferrari years start so good only for the development lag as the year went on which would cost him a cha...

Re: Spoiler alert!- German GP
It has been a roller coaster year. I am a Ferrari fan but not a Seb fan. I used to hate Lewis but like him a lot more these days. In past years Ferrari seems to fade as the year goes on. They would seem to start off strong but politics, errors, lack of development would creep in. It pains me to see ...

Re: Avoid this at home...
I also highly recommend the battery powered mixer. It does an excellent job with mixing paints that have even settled. It is also great with metallic paints. Looks like a lesson to NOT shake glass paint jars anymore, especially ones with metal balls in them. Although it will be very difficult (impos...

That was neat.
Love the look of the car and have a couple on the shelf to build one day.
