I've had good luck with F1 Specialties CF decals - in fact I'm hoping some will be in my mailbox when I get home. The only caveat with their decals is that setting solution - at least Solvaset - stains them, so I only apply setting solution to the underside of the decals.

I haven't used it myself but others have reported that future floor wax works well with my decals. But it is vital to avoid enamel as it will destroy the white printing. You might want to test some Tamiya or Testors Gloss Lacquer over your enamel paint on a test piece - it's worth a try. As for acry...
