Re: Tyrrell P34 mega build up!!
Hello Icon-Modeler, that is a really impressive project you have started there. I am looking forward to see how it is going to develop. When I saw the picture of all the unstarted kits one question came in my mind: What's about the decals? At first there are no GY decals in the new released Japan GP...

Re: P34 ?? for the experts
It was raced in this configuration at a non-championchip race in early 1976. It was either the Race of Champions at Brands Hatch or the International Trophy at Silverstone.

Re: More 1/20 F1 kit from Japan
The only good thing if Fujimi would also release a P34 in 1/20 would be that Fujimi from then on would also have moldings of a DFV engine and a Hewland gearbox which might be a first step to more not red cars from the 70's and 80's.

Re: Car Numbering from Years Ago
Before the mid of 1973 the race organisers were in charge of the car numbering. But they did not always gave the numbers in the order the teams send their applications. If you take a look to the German Grand Prix 1970 you will notice that Team Lotus had the numbers 2, 12 and 28, while Ferrari got th...

Re: is it possible to convert?
Is it possible to convert williams FW-07 in any Tyrrell? Yes! Would be easy? Yes! Do we have decals? Yes! :D Okay, it should be possible without to much conversion work to make a Tyrrell 010 out of an FW07. The most significant change would be the nose which was not as wide on the Tyrrell then it w...

Re: P34 ?? for the experts
Hello Icon Modeler, I suppose I can answer most of the questions you have. At first there are those bigger side windows. I know that they where used on Scheckters car at the German Grand Prix which would make sense if you consider how many corners are at the Nürburgring. Depaillers car had the norma...

Re: 1/20 Ferrari F187/88
Thank you for the pics, fatfrog! The parts look very nice so far and I will surly order on of this. :-) One point I have spotted are the turbo airintakes. Were they really fitted on the enginecover? I would have thought they are fitted to the turbo itself and the enginecover is just arround them... ...
