Even the ones that would b...

hi, i use a cordless dremel, speed 0 - to 25000 rpm. For drilling plastic, lowest speed is best as otherwise plastic will melt. Dremel (handheld) costed about Euro 80. I use an old 'black& decker' drilling machine standard(?) to alter dremel into table version. I did not check for table standard...

As a buyer, i don't have any problem with buying from a new seller, as long as the add and sellers data seem genuine to me. That is, i would easily buy a USD200 kit from regions you see regularly pop up offering this kind of stuff, like japan, hongkong, US, Europe. Other regions seem less convenient...

word is, tamiya almost went bankrupt on the 1/12 big scale serie. Last in series were ferrari 641/2, honda MP4/6, williams FW14. Guess costs to make such a kit did not get covered by dissapointing) sales.

well, small update. As mentioned earlier, i gave the body little rest as i am still afraid of cutting out the headlights. The nose also needs some extra attention left & right from air intake: the line should be much more rounded. The correct round shape will reflect light in correct way: from s...

seamus, thx about your opinion. Not starting the build quite yet... got a lola keeping me busy for next couple of months, years(?) And i know what a pain hinges can be: i just put them on the lola and even in 1/12th it is so small, so i can imagine what it is like in 1/20 or 1/24th Jamme, I think yo...

porsche 917 sebring 1971

Any of you builders/collectors knows which fujumi 1/24 917 kit i should use to build the car as raced at Sebring 1971? Is the 1970 daytona kit (12188) suitable? Got the studio27 decal set, so that's no problem. Just the type of car (as fujimi made like 6 or 7 different types)
Thx already, Wim

Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: WIP: Lotus 99T

there was a decalset from f1specialties for the JPS car, any idea if it is somewhere stillavaialble Norm (F1 specs) accidentally chucked approx 500 of these in his bin... so no stock left as he was not planning on re-producing. That's the bad news. Good news is tabu design has released both a full ...
