Re: Carbon Fiber decal question
If you haven't painted anything yet, you should probably try to do a test build using white glue. The glue can easily be removed, so you can try it several times to get some confidence. My approach would be to build the wing in two steps. At first I would only glue the parts A3, A17, A18 and B32 tog...

Re: New Motorsport Model Making YouTube Channel
I enjoyed your video very much and left a subscription.
There are always things that could be made better, but most importantly you have to find your own style, which will take a few episodes. And after all your primarly focus lies on modeling.
So keep going.

Also congratulations from me. The finished car looks fantastic. Especially the gloss black paint.

Re: McLaren MP4/13 (Tamiya) & MP4/12 (Revell)
Thank you for all the comments! :-) I should probably add that this is the first Revell kit I ever finished. My previous two attempts ended in a disaster. Call me crazy but I actually prefer the look of the '98 narrow track cars to the wide track cars of '97. In general I prefer the look of the 1997...

McLaren MP4/13 (Tamiya) & MP4/12 (Revell)
Back in 1999 / 2000 I got the new released McLaren MP4/13 by Tamiya. I started the kit back then, but run into trouble, as I couldn't find a good colour for the dark sidepods. I tried the suggested paintmarker, but it didn't worked. So the kit went back into the box. I now tried it again with Zero p...

Re: Villeneuve Pironi documentary
The earliest I can think of are Fittipaldi and Peterson at Monza 1973. Emerson recently talked about it in a podcast. You can hear the story at 33:36: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MXWFPN7q2fU All in all a tremendous Hollywood blockbuster screenplay. They could make a great Rush-II with ´82 season...

Museum collection might have what you need.
One of their sets is often advertised with a picture of helmets, but in fact it seems to include several additional decals for the MP4/30:

Re: Tamiya Lotus 107 & Studio 27 decals
I like this version of the 107 with its different coloured nose cone. It makes you realise immediately that this car was not build out of the box.
You have made a flawless built, you can be proud of.
