Re: Instrument Lenses

Though I have yet to try them, there are new(ish) products from Mr. Hobby that should do the trick. The following are their descriptions: Mr. Hobby Mr Clear Coating Gloss UV Cut by Mr Hobby R193 Description This super coating agent that exceeds even fluorine was generated using nano technology. This...

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2023

I'm liking what Meng has been putting out lately. They (or whomever they contract the molds to) have been using the latest technologies in CAD/CAM, molding tech (slide-molds etc.) I also see the case of them buying CAD (or whatever) files of them. They got their hands on the Wingnut Wings design and...

Re: Williams FW19, Revell, 1/24

Very nicely done. I have one, and was disappointed when I opened the box, but you have given me hope!
Thanks for the heads up on the decals and seams.

Re: 1/8 Lotus 72 Pocher...

I don't get it. A quite expensive, pre-finished, die-cast car ... some assembly required .... and even a lot of aftermarket detailing to reduce the toy-like look. Given the size, a large display case is required as well.

To each their own, but a hard pass for me. I liked their Ducati's much better.

Beautiful job Dave! Now I'm looking at the 1/8th Monogram Jag in my stash with jealousy.

Love your custom Hawaii plate as well.

Looking forward to your next one.

Re: Red Bull RB16B Alpha Model Rd.13 / 16

Thanks for all the photos! Sad to see some broken bits (and errors), but there's some pretty thin resin going on there in places. It does look like it was well packaged, but .....

Waiting for mine to arrive.

The "Secret Gift" is "a nice racing girl figure" according to my communications with them, and may still be offered.

Re: Red Bull RB16B Alpha Model Rd.13 / 16

Note that they do seem to include a photoetch template for painting the tire markings whatever colour desired, but I agree that the correct colour tire decals should be included. Nice to see Alpha producing an F1 car, as there resin quality is top notch.

Re: MULTIMEDIA Upcoming F1 Releases 2022

So we have to wait for the kit and what the real content is, so you know if the rear wing needs to be corrected! Is there anyone here that has an inside line to Alpha Models to point out any errors to them? I suppose that though the RB kit is still in Pre-order status, they likely have already made...
