Re: Share some advice on how to remove decals

If they are not clear coated you could try some low tack tape like Tamiya etc. Place a length of tape over the decal, press it down, and peel off.

Re: Help please - S27 BAR 007 Japan GP

Thanks Steffen for your advice. It looks like there were 3 variations so you may be correct there with what you mention. Maybe these parts are unrelated to my version after all. Thanks again. Tim

Re: Help please - S27 BAR 007 Japan GP

Thanks TvD. That solves 17. Looking at if now it makes a lot of logic. It gives me something to loop the belt through the buckle now. This is the first full multimedia and S27 kit I have built. I have learnt quite quickly that the instructions are vague and incomplete and you are on your own to figu...

Re: Help please - S27 BAR 007 Japan GP

I don`t have that kit, but in my opinion 17 looks like seat belt mounting brackets to the rear of the cockpit. 21 and 22 maybe flaps for the outside of the front wing? Here are 2 links, maybe they can help you. http://www.museumcollection.co.jp/gallery/auto/tyrrel/bar007.htm http://www.museumcollec...

Perfect Marco! That came up well indeed. I also have the Ferrari 500 F2 buried somewhere in the cupboard. Hope it comes out as good as yours!
Cheers. Tim

1/12 Renault RE20 (aging)

Hi guys. I have been doing some rearranging in my hobby room and this has been moved around in doing so. It was then that I thought maybe some of you might be interested to see it. It is the Tamiya 1/12 Renault RE-20, which I built way way back in 1991 (so yeah 32 years ago  ) Its starting to s...

Re: 1/12 Lotus 99t NUNU

Now that it looks like it has got more and more Tamiya influence I am feeling way more positive about the final product. I reckon it will be well worth the wait. I can sure wait for the MP4/4 too!!
