Re: MFH Ferrari 312/67 1/12

Hi Day, Welcome aboard! I think you are selling yourself a bit short with your GT40 and 250 - they are very nice builds. There was a recent discussion about pin vises which might be of help to you https://forum.f1m.com/viewtopic.php?p=349510#p349510 As for other tools, there are many suppliers and m...

Re: Lotus 25, Lotus 72D, Zakspeed 189

Thats a lovely little group of models. I like them all.
The 72 looks particularly sharp.
When I was small lad in the mid 70's I had a T-shirt of Emmo and the 72 ... its long gone now, sadly :( .

This looks great Steffen. Really nice! The Shadow is awesome too :D
I do have one question for you (or Derek):
Do Dereks tyres come with tyre logos/markings preprinted on them, or did you add those yourself?
Cheers
Tim

Re: Help with MFH seat belts

For the end that goes through the buckles, you can cut it in a vee (taper). It should then go through the slot in the buckle easier without fraying. Folder it back behind the buckle and hold in place with the tape. It can be trickier when placing through the shoulder adjusters. Tweezers with a sharp...

Re: Help with MFH seat belts

Hello Cristiano, I am not familiar with the 1/12 sets, but I would think you could use them as a guide. The 3 strips you show are double sided tape. They are quite thin and can be tricky. They can be used under the belt material to hold them in place against the seat. You can also use the tape under...

Re: 1/20 MPC McLaren M8D

Thanks all for your positive and kind comments. I appreciate them all :D A treat to look at. I have the grey molded kit version, and I''m wondering if I should use grey or white primer under the TS56. What did you use? Great job, and thanks for any guidance regarding primer choice. Thanks, glad you ...

1/20 MPC McLaren M8D

Hi Guys. This has been a project which I began around 1993. It is the original MPC release. Horrible orange plastic and sprues of chrome plate. It has been on and off the bench for all of these years, but now it is off for good :D Tamiya TS56 Orange Alclad, Bare Metal Foil Radius rods and various br...
