Re: Protar 312T2 - Tamiya 312 Engine

Yes - I was just illustrating that it is fairly easy to drop a Tamiya engine into the Protar kits. I guess it would be even easier putting one into the T2!

Re: Protar 312T2 - Tamiya 312 Engine

I put the Tamiya 312T engine into the Protar 312T3 kit. It is definitely worth the effort although the Protar suspension, rads and other details look really clunky next to Tamiya detailing and aftermarket stuff!

Re: 1/12 MFH kit June 2022

This is rather good news and for once MFH really deceived us as a group - didnt they!

I rather like the look of the car and it is good that there is finally an accurate John Surtees F1 memorial.

If it isnt too expensive I might go for one.

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2022

It is great that Tamiya can keep re-releasing their kits from the 1980s and still find buyers who still want them! As Tamiya re-issued the Tyrrell with a "hammerhead" Monaco nose to upgrade the original 1/12 kit a few years ago, when I first saw the photos of the 1/20 Tyrrell P34 I wondere...

Re: 2022 F1 Team CARS presentation

They all look amazing this year.

The colour scheme makes the Ferrari looks like the 640 at first glance!
