Wow - that is a niche choice!
I guess it will sell well in Japan.

MFH 1/12 Sauber C9
I started the amazing MFH 1/12 Sauber C9 on July 11th and after two weeks, I have done about 80% of the cockpit area. The actual central monocoque is made up of a series of large white metal components and each had to be glued and clamped in order before adding smaller details, suspension and so on....
Re: Mr. Hiro
I am so sorry to read this news. Single-handedly really, MFH seem to have been keeping the 1/12 racing car kit flag flying whilst more established firms hid away citing things such as licensing costs, tobacco adverts and lack of demand. Mr Hiro showed that it was perfectly possible to issue new and ...

Re: 1/12 MFH Toleman TG184 (Senna, Monaco)
Thank you very much. It has been rather fun putting it together - but overall I prefer building cars over websites! I have just bought a snappier domain name though Themodelcitizen.uk Well done on the Ashes result. I am still in mourning - but maybe cricket was the real winner… (US/EU forum members ...

MFH 1/12 July
First shot is up of the latest MFH 1/12. Only feels like a few days since the rather glamorous Brabham but this looks rather unusual as well. Aerial view of a housing estate?? I think MFH first teased about a Williams with an aerial shot of Didcot. This looks rather different… Las Vegas? https://www...

Re: MFH 1/12 June
I nearly suggested the BT45 earlier with that first photo but thought it was such a ridiculous idea I would look an idiot for suggesting it… I would love a later version such as the Watson car that should have won the 1977 British GP but I am not complaining! Any Murray designed car always looks sen...

Re: MP4/2C: THE ALL PURPOSE Italeri 1/12 THREAD!
+1 It will be really interesting to see how well it sells and if it sells quickly maybe Italeri might reissue with some improved parts. In the UK I see Hiroboy have already sold all their stock. Excellent to see! A predominantly aviation specialist over here called Hannants are also listing this rel...

1/12 MFH Toleman TG184 (Senna, Monaco)
I loved making this kit. I thought the rear wing assembly and the rather strange engine layout would cause trouble but everything fitted really well. If anyone has one of these kits in their stash, my suggestion would be to build the engine and gearbox separately but do NOT join them together as the...

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2023
I am definitely buying a 99T even if I built the 1/20 Tamiya kit some years ago. With the detailing set, it is still little more than half the cost of the MFH 97T and 98T. However I am surprised that the box looks so obviously a copy of the Tamiya style. My F641 even has "vintage selection"...

Re: PLASTIC Upcoming F1 Releases 2023
Just in case this is useful, Hiroboy in the UK have now got the MP4/2 on their website at £120 and Spotmodel has it at €134.
Both great prices! I think I paid nearly £300 for the Protar kit many years ago - and proceeded to do a pretty poor job with it!!
Cheers
