Re: 1/8th Miura

Just finishing mine as well; the high points; interior, chrome, wheel and tire casting all first rate, low points: paint finish has lots of orange peel, body fitting taking a lot of time and patience; bending/filing/adjusting , won't be perfect but should suffice for display. I would have preferred ...

Re: WTB: 1/8 scale throttle return springs

Re: WTB: 1/8 scale throttle return springs

I don' t have the desired thickness wire Daniel; I need something like a 0.2mm diameter wire to make what I need. I wound some 26 gauge craft wire[0.4mm], but it is too thick.

WTB: 1/8 scale throttle return springs

I'm working on Pocher's Lotus 72D model; the Cosworth V8 engine in the kit doesn't not have the throttle slide return springs ,[see yellow area circled in photo] they would measure about 1mm in diameter and about 8-9mm long--any ideas where to buy these would be appreciated in advance, thank you

Re: 1/8 Lotus 72 Pocher...

I'm one of those builders who struggles with getting a high quality paint finish; there aren't any sources for hiring someone to just paint bodies out there. From the photos I've seen of builds so far, it certainly could use upgrades to the plumbing fittings. And it's too bad the engine heads have t...

Re: Agora 1/8th Ferrari 312T4

It released as a partworks in Europe and Japan, then recently Agora Models offered a limited edition of 60 as a complete kit, which sold out quickly.

Re: Agora 1/8th Ferrari 312T4

Nicely done, I have also built one and enjoyed it. There were some aftermarkets decals available that were available to add detail to the cockpit switch and engine bay electrical boxes.
