Re: Vote on my next build. Kimi F1´s only :)

I concur, its one of my favorite F1 cars with the narrow nose.

Re: Revell toyota tf102

Its a bit of a tough build, but really nice model in the end. I built one years ago, the decals are great to work with and its a really cool paint scheme.

Re: What is the best budget spray gun recommendation?

Just use the logic that it will cost more to continue to buy spray paint over several months than to buy an airbrush and compressor.

Re: WIP: STR5 early season 2010 conversion

Looks great! Where'd you get the decals from? I bought my set from BNA Model World shop. But by now they may be out of stock. It was a limited release from Studio27. However it might have been re-released at least once since. I would try to contact Studio27 directly. If they don't have it, then loo...

Re: Mclaren new livery

I think I posted this when the original scheme came out....I still think it looks like a great option. Lovely photoshop work by someone too! It looks modern, but has that reference to the past and includes enough of Ron's grey/black. It's also smart and distinctive. orange.jpg Unfortunatley I think...

Re: Inaccurate Kits

Revell MP4/20 is pretty inaccurate. It looks like it was supposed to be the MP4/19, but as that was super unsuccessful, they switched it to the MP4/20. The MP4/20 had a no keel suspension setup, where the model had a twin keep, and the nose was also rather narrow, where the real car was very wide.

Re: Best way to replicate a complex curve on a car?

Thanks, I've sent them an e-mail to see if they possibly have any left. I also have both the F2000 and F2001, figure I'll use the nose from the 2000 with the chassis from the 2001, along with the front wing from the 2001 modified a bit. I'll definitely PM you if I have any questions, and will start ...

Re: Best way to replicate a complex curve on a car?

Thanks for all of the tips! I think I'll try a few different ways and see which works best. I'll definitely start a WIP thread when I get going on it. I also didn't realize the barge boards are so similar to the MP4/13. I have a few photoetch versions of the barge board, guess I will be doing some m...
