Re: MFH for October

I wanted the 1957 SS and 1963 GS and a 1976 Greenwood LM of the older cars. The rest I can live without in 1/12th scale. 1953 was a straight 6.

Re: MFH for October

Could be an early 1950's Cadillac motor also but it looks like a 55 vette motor. Wow that is strange. Maybe a Sebring Vette ?? Not the SS.

Re: MFH for October

Most of the Vette's have injection plenums on top of the motor.

Re: MFH for October

Looks like an early 1960's or late 1950's Chevy small block as you said. Cheetah ? or 1959 Cat Eyes :)

Nice work on the build.

He did a real nice job on that kit. Maybe his best kit to date.

Re: 1/43rd scale Upcoming New Releases

Great idea, and ads variety. 1/43rd, the one scale you can get almost everything in. I have build alot of Tameo and Meri kits over the years, not to mention Provence Moulage.

Re: Hachette F1 1/24th scale Championship models

I checked race day photos and the Firestone rings were only on the outside of the tires, so the model is correct. These guys do good research for the models. I do think the rivets are oversized, but most of the added model rivets I see on larger models on this board are also oversized (including Hir...

Re: Hachette F1 1/24th scale Championship models

The Ferrari 312B 1970 from Hachette in 1/24th was just released with the Brabham BT49 and Ferrari 412 T2 early next month. Here is a large photo of the 1/24th 312B. For a diecast it is very good, especially the body and wings. The centers for the wheels will have to be corrected as will the engine d...
