No, that can't be it. They have done thinner undertray parts in 1:20...
And they've done bigger resin cowlings for sportscars.

I read an article where someone from LV marketing ( or whatever that is called ) explained, that the weekend before Thanksgiving is always their slowest and that it's a great spot for F1 to bring in new/extra guests, so maybe not!?

What is the suspension made from? It looks weird.... E Box say: carbon mixed special material suspension arms. Looks like plastic with fibres added for strenght. Could be carbon fibres but more likey glass fibres. That's standard in automotive plastic parts to add strenght. There we usually use up ...
