Re: Looking for 1:20 fuel inlet
That part is too small for a 3D scanner to get a useful scan and the Tamyia part isn't accurate because it's made for injection molding with a simple 2-part mold.
The accurate part Thomas created couldn't be made that way.

I have that piece left over if you want it.
If Thomas does a printed version if will be better/more accurate though

Re: Recommended heat gun/hair dryer for decals?
I don't use a blow dryer at all. It may blow the decals away as you describe and it tends to evaporate the softener before it can work on the decal.
Instead I use a halogen desk lamp for heat after applying the softener.

Re: 1/12 Lotus 99t NUNU
Those marks in the red circles are very likely in the tool, so any replacement part will be the same. If they didn't fix it before production they won't do it later. Money and timing issues it seems and someone decided to "live with it". Nobody said you're not allowed to complain about mis...

Re: Look for Meng McLaren MP4/4 in the wild
I'd agree that an etched endplate will be too thin. I don't have the kit though so I can't comment on the thickness of the kit parts. You can always sand the kit parts thinner ( which may be a tedious job ) or in this case with the completely flat endplate ( + guerney flap at the trailing edge ) you...
