I've never had the Chevron windscreens, but I bet they will be easier to apply than using the kit parts. Years ago I built the 1/12 scale 641/2 and when I tried to glue on the windscreen, the clear plastic was very stiff and kept wanting to spring off the cowling (the sides kept springing out to its...
